SPL мотор-шпиндели для фрезерных станков и обрабатывающих центров выполнены в основном с предварительно напряжённым гибридным подшипником или предварительным натягом гидравлического подшипника. Тем самым, диапазон частоты вращения может быть достигнут с максимально высокой жесткостью прецизионной подшипниковой опоры. К гидравлическому предварительному напряжению добавляются преимущества демпфирования, что улучшает качество поверхности заготовки и продлевает срок службы шпинделя.
