This website of SPL Spindel und Präzisionslager GmbH is structured and equipped with features that enable largely barrier-free use.
 
To begin with: Our website is aimed at a specialised audience.
 
The menu hierarchy is designed to be logical and comprehensible. Graphic symbols (icons) help to categorise topics or support quick comprehension of the statements. The content is programmed in responsive design and adapts to the respective end devices.

Overviews and summaries make it possible to quickly grasp the content. A clear colour design supports the allocation to the different service areas in all relevant categories, but is not solely recognisable by this.

This online presence is designed in such a way that you can operate the website using only the keyboard as far as possible. Graphics in particular have an explanatory text or are described in the text. As far as possible, the content can be read using standard read-aloud functions.
 
Links indicate which further information they lead to. Images, graphics and non-self-explanatory links provide corresponding information via an alt text.
 
The contact form offers visible labelling and the option of undoing or correcting the data entry before sending the form.

Some embedded video productions have subtitles that describe the content. However, we are currently unable to offer full accessibility for all videos.

Accessible functions


Using the functions in the "Accessibility settings" box, the font can be enlarged for better visibility and reduced again for precise customisation without the content being cut off.

The colours can be changed to greyscale and restored. It is also possible to increase and decrease the contrast. The functions can be linked together. All settings can be reset individually or all together.
 
Information on handling in the "Accessibility settings" settings box for font sizes, greyscale and contrast:

 
    • Click on the function symbol (icon / grey human symbol on a white circle) at the bottom left-hand edge to open a window with setting options for visual optimisation:

    • Click on "Enlarge font" several times to gradually increase the letter size,
 
    • Click on "Reduce font size" several times to reduce the letter size, whereby you can also go back by clicking on "Reset all",
 
    • Click on "Greyscale on / off" to change the colour of the content to greyscale, click again to reset the application,
 
    • Clicking on "Contrast high / normal" increases the contrast of the entire content, clicking again resets the application.
 
    • You can switch off all functions by clicking on "Reset all".
 
    • To read this explanation again, use the "Accessibility information" in the settings box that leads to this page.
 
    • You can hide the window with the settings box for the "Accessibility settings" under "Close".
 
Once set, the functions are retained on all pages until they are reset. Click on the graphic symbol (icon / grey human symbol on a white circle) of the settings box to open the settings menu again.
 
The settings function is available as a function symbol (icon) at all times and on all pages of the website.
